About me
I hold a Diploma in Graphic and Visual Design from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and I am currently enrolled in their Bachelor of Fine Arts, Visual Arts Program. I have spent the last 30 years painting murals, portraits, commissioned artwork and illustrations for residential and commercial clients, including ICBC, Fraser Health and the “Flame of the Word” church history book series.
I am a member of the Langley Arts Council and have had several exhibitions of my work.
I have taught art to children and adults in my own classes and for a large home school group for nine years, as well as teaching Art Foundations 8-12 at the high school level since 2008.
In 2004 I won first prize and was named Artist of the Year by Trout Unlimited Canada for my painting “Autumn Echo” which was chosen for use in their advertising and fundraising efforts for the year.
